IPL6 News –           द्रविड़ और कोहली पर लगा 11-11 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना

राजस्थान रॉयल्स के कप्तान राहुल द्रविड़ और बेंगलुरू रॉयलचैलेंजर्स के कप्‍तान विराट कोहली पर जुर्माना लगाया गया है। आईपीएल के छठे संस्‍करण में पहली बार दो कप्‍तानों पर जुर्माना लगाया गया है। द्रविड़ पर कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के खिलाफ सोमवार को जयपुर में खेले गए आईपीएल के मैच में धीमी ओवर गति के कारण 20,000 डॉलर यानी करीब 11 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना किया गया है।

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) का छठा सत्र पूरे शबाब पर है। इस सत्र में अबतक खेले गए आठ मुकाबलों में बल्लेबाजों के साथ-साथ गेंदबाजों का भी जलवा देखने को मिला है। जहां एक तरफ छक्कों की बारिश हो रही है, वहीं, दूसरी तरफ गेंदबाज विकेट भी ले रहे हैं।

 1. कुल रन : आठ मुकाबलों में अबतक कुल 2137 रन बने हैं।

2. छक्का : टूर्नामेंट में अबतक 46 छक्के लगे हैं। मुंबई इंडियंस के दिनेश कार्तिक, किरोन पोलार्ड और बेंगलूर के क्रिस गेल ने 5-5 छक्के लगाए हैं।

3. सबसे लंबा छक्का : इस टूर्नामेंट में 99 मीटर का सबसे लंबा छक्का लगा है।

4. अर्धशतक : अबतक कोई शतक तो नहीं लग सका है, लकिन कुल 8 अर्धशतक लगे हैं। अर्धशतक लगाने वाले बल्लेबाजी हैं : मुंबई इंडियंस के दिनेश कार्तिक, किरोन पोलार्ड, रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलूर के क्रिस गेल, कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के इयोन मॉर्गन, चेन्नई सुपरकिंग्स के महेंद्र सिंह धौनी, राजस्थान रॉयल्स के राहुल द्रविड़, दिल्ली डेयरडेविल्स के डेविड वार्नर और महेला जयवर्धने।

5. सर्वाधिक व्यक्तिगत स्कोर : बेंगलूर के क्रिस गेल के नाबाद 92 रन टूर्नामेंट में अबतक सर्वाधिक व्यक्तिगत स्कोर है।

6. बाउंड्री से रन : 2137 रन में से 1040 रन बाउंड्री से बने हैं।

7. विकेट : आठ मुकाबलों में कुल 110 विकेट गिरे हैं।

8. डॉट बॉल्स : 752 गेंदों पर कोई रन नहीं बने।

9. फास्टेस्ट बॉल : इस टूर्नामेंट में अबतक 150.19 किमी. प्रति घंटा की रफ्तार से सबसे तेज गेंद फेंकी गई है। यह कारनामा राजस्थान रॉयल्स के शॉन टैट ने किया है।

IPL 6 News –   जयपुर। इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) के छठे सत्र में आज बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री शिल्पा शेट्टी की टीम राजस्थान रॉयल्सऔर अभिनेता शाहरुख खान की टीम कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के बीच जबरदस्त घमासान होने की संभावना है। इस सीजन में दोनों ही टीम अपना पहला मुकाबला जीत चुकी हैं और अब दूसरे मुकाबले के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार हैं।

2. गौतम गंभीर : दिल्ली के खिलाफ 29 गेंदों में 5 चौके और एक छक्के की मदद से 41 रन बनाकर गौतम गंभीर ने यह साबित कर दिया कि वे अब फॉर्म में लौट चुके हैं और ताबड़तोड़ रन बरसा सकते हैं।

3. जैक्स कैलिस : कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स की टीम में जैक्स कैलिस का स्थान काफी महत्वपूर्ण है। कैलिस अगर एकबार चल गए तो फिर इन्हें रोक पाना विरोधी गेंदबाजों के लिए टेढी खीर हो जाती है।

Farah Khan hopes Shah Rukh Khan does her IPL signature moves

IPL 6 News –    Farah Khan has choreographed some signature moves as part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. She hopes her superstar friend Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), dances to her steps in the stadium.

“I hope Shah Rukh does these steps when his team hits a six or a four or takes a wicket. He has a sense of humour and I am sure he will enjoy it,” Farah, 48, said here on Tuesday at a press meet, where a special song was launched.

The peppy song, Dil jumping zapaak is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. Farah has created special steps for times when a team hits a four or a six, or when a bowler gets a player out.

Farah also plans to make some cricketers dance to her tunes.
 
The sixth season of IPL kicks off April 3 in Kolkata.

IPL 6: Wasim Akram quits KKR as bowling consultant

Former Pakistan legendary pacer, Wasim Akram has made it clear that he would not be associated with the IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders for the sixth edition of IPL citing personal reasons. Wasim Akram was the bowling coach and mentor of the Gautam Gambhir-led side in the lucrative league since three years and was also a part of the core team along with coach Trevor Bayliss in coming up with strategies for the IPL champions during his reign. 

 

According to Kolkata Knight Riders, Wasim Akram has expressed his desire to quit KKR during IPL 6 and has hinted at rejoining the team later since there is a need to spend time with his family as his two teenage sons Taimur and Akbar need his support at the moment.

IPL 6: Low-profile, big-budget – the big gainers

IPL 6 auction in Chennai saw 37 players sold for a combined total of $11.89 million. Of those, Australian allrounder Glenn Maxwell attracted the maximum bid of $1 million and the two other notable signings were Kane Richardson, who was bought by Pune Warriors India for $700,000, and South Africa’s Chris Morris, bought by Chennai Super Kings for $625,000.

Among the lesser-known players who also earned big bucks were the uncapped Western Australia fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile ($450,000), Sri Lankan offspinner Sachitra Senanayake ($625,000) and young Australian allrounder James Faulker who found himself richer after Rajasthan Royals paid $400,000 for his services.
